Thanksgiving Break
Thanksgiving came and went, ate a lot, saw a TON of wonderful people, had a couple family shoots, and got to spend a lot of silly time with this little guy. Happy times. Very thankful.

Portraits: Charli and Tiffani
These sisters are beyond cute. Let's be real. Tiffani and Charli asked me to shoot a portrait session for them to surprise their parents for Christmas, mostly in hopes that they would replace old ones of them in matching outfits from the 90's, which are always everyone's favs except for the people that are actually in them. I got to shoot this duo in Las Colinas, and I had never really explored shoot spots there before but I'm really happy with the cute little places we found! Take a look at these beyond classy sisters that I got the privilege of capturing!
Charli graduated from SMU, and Tiffani graduated from TCU. Literally these two are bleeding school pride, it's precious. So of course we had to document their collegiate rivalry! But first, a froyo break had to happen. It was so crazy hot that day! These two were troopers.
Aren't you just completely overwhelmed with their classy-ness? Yeah, you and me both! This shoot was an absolute blast, and I loved every minute of it! You two are fabulous!
Are YOU looking for someone to finally take that family pic for this years Christmas card? I would love to help you out! Email me at meganfortnerphotography@gmail.com so we can talk dates and pricing! Even if you just curious about pricing just for the fun of it, I'd love to answer any and all questions you may or may not have! You people are wonderful, thanks for supporting me and my love for photos and people.

Photo Project: Studio Lighting
I am learning so so much in my advanced photography class this semester! I love it. A couple weeks ago we started working with studio lighting, which I knew NOTHING about, and I'm still learning tons. And I totally thought I would hate every minute of it, but you know what, I didn't! This series was supposed to be over "Housing", but I just felt like I needed it to be different than my regular old "Southern Living" documentary. So I decided to take a more photo-journalistic view on housing, and document the different things that people do in different rooms in their houses, the unattractive things that can't really be glamorized.

Engagements: Jeremy and Danielle
MY FABULOUS ROOMIE GOT ENGAGED!! Literally you guys have no idea how excited I am about this! Jeremy flew in from Houston to surprise her, and we got to help him set up the place on campus where the big moment would happen! So much fun! To hear a more detailed version of the story, go hear it straight from the source here on Jeremy's blog! Here's some of the pics I got to quickly take before the big surprise took place!!
Danielle wouldn't stop flashin her new bling.
AND I QUOTE "when your rock is this rockin, you kind of half to."
Love that woman, and her out of control self.
SUCH A GREAT DAY. It was so perfect, and Jeremy did such a great job. Oh and props to Oh Deery for letting us use all the mason jars and precious fabric! I love having creative friends that are super generous with all their thrifted treasures! The next day we all went to the fair for their engagement shoot! It was absolutely fabulous and I'm literally in love with some of the shots that we got by the end of the day! So excited to share them!

Love these two. So excited that the Lord is fusing these two individual ministries together to further His kingdom! Houston, prepare yourself for the WILSONS, and all the millions of ginger babies they're going to have.
